Hello folks,

Myself and some colleagues ran the 5k this year - which was definitely a first for some of us! We had a great day, lovely to see so many folk there raising money and awareness and a fair few smiles too. But what we are hankering for is... the photographic evidence! I promise you that I don't want to see myself, but I think some of my sponsors want proof!

Thanks for a brilliant challenge and would be great to see some pics when you can put them up.

Helen

Good Evening, I organise events in Ayrshire, Scotland in aid of CRUK. I met Kay MacKay in 2009 and have kept in touch, she is a wonderful lady. I even visited the Island last Sep and met with the girls in the committee. I just wanted to say, I think you all do a fabulous job, and congratulations on last years fund raising total. I cant wait to see you all again. Lorna xx

I lost my dad five years ago to cancer and my husband lost his mom to cancer about fifteen years ago. Most of us have either lost someone they love or know someone with cancer. I plan on walking the route with a group of co-workers.

I ran the 'Race for Life' in Worcester in 2002, the same year that my mother survived breast cancer. This year I'm running in Stornoway in memory of Claire Chambers, an Army friend who died from cancer in 2008 aged only 39, leaving four young children without a mother.
